• Tanikella Bharani and Srinivas Avasarala first shared screen space in 'Bandipotu' (2015) because Avasarala specifically requested Bharani for the role of his on-screen father. Avasarala had written the character with Bharani's voice and mannerisms in mind.
• In 'Babu Baga Busy' (2017), Bharani played Avasarala's father again, but this time the comedy came from their opposite energies: Avasarala's character was a nervous, fast-talking womanizer, while Bharani played a deadpan, slow-burn father who delivered punchlines with zero reaction.
