• Senthil was a last-minute replacement in 'Aatha Un Koyilile' (1991). The original actor backed out, and Kasthuri personally recommended Senthil to the director after seeing him in a stage play. That film became their first hit together.
• In 'Government Mappillai' (1992), Kasthuri deliberately slowed down her dialogue delivery to match Senthil's comic timing. She later said in an interview that she learned to 'leave space for his pauses' — that rhythm became their signature in every film after.
• During the shoot of 'Kolangal' (1995), Kasthuri and Senthil had a running bet: whoever flubbed a line first had to buy the other a box of Mysore pak. Senthil lost every single day — and still jokes he funded Kasthuri's sweet tooth for a month.
