Kolangal is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by I. V. Sasi. It stars Jayaram as Anand and Khushbu as Ganga. The story follows Ganga, a young woman who is sold into a brothel in Mumbai after fleeing an abusive home. A police officer named Anand rescues her and marries her, but her past threatens to destroy their new life. The film explores themes of human trafficking, family prejudice, and yellow journalism. It won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Second Best Film, and Khushbu won Best Actress. The film was released on 15 September 1995.

Storyline
