• Samantha was the one who pushed for Jr. NTR to be cast in Brindavanam (2010). The director Vamsi Paidipally originally wanted a different hero, but Samantha insisted NTR was the only one who could pull off the role. She literally told the team, 'If he says no, I'm out.'
• On the sets of Ramayya Vasthavayya (2013), Jr. NTR would deliberately mess up his lines in the middle of a take just to make Samantha laugh. She said he turned every serious scene into a giggle-fest, and she had to ask the director for a 'no NTR zone' during her close-ups.
• Janatha Garage (2016) was the film that proved Jr. NTR could carry a mass action film without a romantic subplot. Samantha's role was small but crucial — she played the emotional anchor.
