• Brahmanandam and Giri Babu first shared screen space in 2003's 'Golmaal' because director U. V. Ravindranath wanted a seasoned father figure to bounce off Brahmanandam's manic energy. Giri Babu was the only actor who agreed to shoot the climax scene in one take — Brahmanandam later said that single take set the tone for their next five films.
• In 'Aadanthe Ado Type' (2003), Giri Babu played the straight-laced father while Brahmanandam played the chaotic son-in-law. The comedy came from Giri Babu's deadpan reactions — he never once cracked a smile on set, which made Brahmanandam push his improvisations harder. Brahmanandam later admitted Giri Babu's silence was his best cue.

• On the sets of 'Ori Nee Prema Bangaram Kaanu' (2003), Brahmanandam and Giri Babu discovered they both collected vintage wristwatches. • In 'Youthful Love' (2015), their last film together, Giri Babu deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery to match Brahmanandam's rapid-fire style. The director later revealed that Giri Babu rehearsed each scene 10 times alone just to find the exact pause that would let Brahmanandam's punchlines land harder.
