• Sundeep Kishan and Vennela Kishore first met on the sets of 'Routine Love Story' (2012). Vennela was already a known comedian, but Sundeep was still finding his footing. Vennela later said he deliberately slowed down his comic timing in their scenes together so Sundeep wouldn't get overshadowed.
• In 'Ninnu Veedani Needanu Nene' (2019), Vennela Kishore played Sundeep's friend who gives terrible romantic advice. The comedy came from Vennela delivering deadpan lines while Sundeep reacted with exaggerated frustration. Sundeep admitted in an interview that Vennela's calmness forced him to go bigger with his reactions.
