• Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra first met on the sets of 'Routine Love Story' (2012) — and neither was the first choice. The director, Deepthi Ganta, auditioned over a dozen pairs before locking them in. Sundeep later said they clicked in the first reading itself.
• In 'Ra Ra Krishnayya' (2014), Sundeep and Regina played a couple stuck in a time loop. The trick to their rhythm? Sundeep would deliberately mess up his lines to make Regina laugh, and the director kept those genuine giggles in the final cut.
• Their third film together, 'Maanagaram' (2017), was a Tamil-Telugu bilingual that put both actors on the map in Tamil cinema. It directly led to Sundeep getting cast in 'Nenjil Thunivirundhal' and Regina landing 'Solo' — both released the same year.
