• Silambarasan didn't just act in 'Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangathavan' (2017) — he also wrote and directed it. He cast VTV Ganesh in a key role because he wanted a natural comedian who could keep up with his own chaotic energy on set.
• In 'Vettai Mannan' (2017), Silambarasan played a dual role, and VTV Ganesh was the only actor who could improvise lines on the spot without breaking the rhythm. Simbu would deliberately throw unexpected dialogues at him during takes, and Ganesh would volley back without missing a beat — the director just let the camera roll.
