• Sarika was just 12 when she shot Raakhi Ki Saugandh (1979) with Amjad Khan. He was 38. She later said he treated her like a daughter on set, even teaching her how to time her dialogue delivery for maximum impact.
• In Pyaara Dushman (1980), Amjad Khan played a villain who reforms because of Sarika's character. The entire emotional arc of his redemption hinged on her performance — she had to make him believable as a man who changes for love. He later told a trade magazine that she 'made him work harder' in their scenes together.
• By the time Santosh (1989) released, Sarika had already quit acting for years. Amjad Khan personally called her to come back for one last film together. She agreed only because he asked. It was their final film — and his last release before his death in 1992.
