• Their first film together, Ek Aur Ek Gyarah (1981), was a crime thriller where Prem Chopra played the villain and Raza Murad played a cop. The director, R. Kumar, deliberately cast them as opposites to create tension — and it worked so well that they kept getting paired in similar roles for the next 15 years.
• In Virodhi (1992), Prem Chopra's character was the loud, threatening gangster while Raza Murad played a quiet, manipulative lawyer. Murad later said in an interview that Chopra would deliberately raise his voice in scenes to force Murad to lower his — creating a push-pull rhythm that made their courtroom face-offs crackle.
• Despite playing enemies on screen, Prem Chopra and Raza Murad were close friends off-screen. On the sets of Jaagruti (1992), they would share the same makeup van and often rehearse their scenes together over chai — a habit they kept for all four films.
