• Bokadia cast Dharmendra in Tyaagi (1992) after the actor's comeback from a rough patch. Dharmendra was so eager to work with Bokadia's production style that he slashed his usual fee by half.
• On the sets of Kundan (1993), Bokadia let Dharmendra rewrite his own dialogues. The actor turned a flat action scene into a comic monologue that became the film's only memorable bit.
• Bokadia and Dharmendra shared a ritual before every shoot: they'd have chai together at 6 AM, discussing the day's scene. No one else was allowed. This happened on all three films.
• Zulm-O-Sitam (1998) was the last time Bokadia directed Dharmendra. The film's failure made Bokadia swear off directing action masala movies — he shifted entirely to producing TV soaps after this.
