• They were cast together in 'Dus Kahaniyaan' (2007) because the producers wanted two actors who looked like they could be brothers — but weren't actually related. Aftab and Dino fit that brief perfectly.
• In 'Acid Factory' (2009), Aftab and Dino played characters with amnesia. They deliberately didn't rehearse their scenes together — they wanted the confusion and distrust between their characters to feel real on camera.
• During the shoot of 'Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee' (2007), Aftab and Dino shared a vanity van because the budget was tight. They ended up bonding over old Bollywood songs and still call each other 'van-mates'.
• Their pairing in 'Dus Kahaniyaan' (2007) was so convincing as brothers that director Sanjay Gupta later cast Dino in 'Shootout at Wadala' (2013) — but only after Aftab recommended him for the role.
• Dino Morea once said in an interview: 'Aftab and I never competed. We knew we were both just trying to survive in this industry. So we held each other up instead of pulling each other down.'
