• Their first film together, Chal Chala Chal (2009), was a comedy about a stolen idol. Director Rajkumar Kohli paired them because he wanted two actors who could do physical comedy without dialogue — Joshi's deadpan face and Yadav's rubbery body were his exact specs.
• In Kushti (2010), Joshi played the straight-man coach to Yadav's wrestler. Joshi later said in an interview that Yadav would improvise three different punchlines for every scene, and Joshi would pick the one that made him break character first — that became their unspoken rhythm.
• Their 2019 hit Mr Black Mr White was the first Hindi film to get a simultaneous release in Bhojpuri and Haryanvi dubbed versions. The film's success directly led to a wave of small-budget comedy double-acts in regional cinema over the next two years.
• On the sets of Masti Express (2011), Joshi and Yadav shared a vanity van for the entire shoot — not because of budget, but because Yadav refused to sit alone. Joshi told a trade paper that Yadav would fall asleep on his shoulder between takes, and they'd wake each other up when the AD knocked.

• Hungama 2 (2021) was originally written for a solo lead. But after the director saw their chemistry in Choron Ki Baraat (2015), he rewrote the entire second half to give them a parallel track — that subplot became the most-shared clip from the film on WhatsApp forwards.
