Saathiya(2002)
Saathiya is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Shaad Ali in his directorial debut. The film stars Vivek Oberoi as Aditya Sehgal and Rani Mukerji as Suhani Sharma, with Shah Rukh Khan and Tabu in extended cameo appearances. The story follows a young couple who elope against their families' wishes and then face the realities of married life. It explores the challenges of communication, financial stress, and emotional distance that arise after the initial romance fades. The film is a remake of Mani Ratnam's Tamil film Alaipayuthey (2000) and was produced by Yash Raj Films. Saathiya was a commercial success, earning ₹291 million (US$3.4 million) worldwide, and ranked as the eighth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2002. It won 19 awards, including several for its music composed by A. R. Rahman. The film was released on December 20, 2002.

Storyline
