Indian(2001)
Indian is a 2001 Hindi-language action thriller film directed by N. Maharajan and produced by Dharmendra under Vijayta Films. The film stars Sunny Deol, Shilpa Shetty, and Danny Denzongpa in pivotal roles. It is a remake of Maharajan's own Tamil film Vallarasu. The story follows DCP Rajshekhar Singh Azad, an honest police officer who uncovers a conspiracy linking a terrorist to a powerful industrialist and his own corrupt father-in-law. Forced to choose between family and nation, Rajshekhar becomes a vigilante to eliminate the enemies of the state. The film was a commercial success, grossing over ₹540 million worldwide and becoming the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2001. It was released on 26 October 2001.

Storyline
DCP Rajshekhar Singh Azad is an honest police officer who arrests a dangerous terrorist. But he soon discovers that the terrorist is just a pawn. The real mastermind is a powerful industrialist, and even his own father-in-law is corrupt. Rajshekhar must choose between his family and his duty to the nation.
