Beti No.1(2000)
Beti No.1 is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by T. Rama Rao and written by Santosh Saroj. The cast includes Govinda, Rambha, Aruna Irani, Johnny Lever, and Prem Chopra in a rare positive role. The story follows Durga Devi, a wealthy matriarch who values sons over daughters and mistreats her granddaughters. Her youngest son Bharat marries Priya secretly, and when Priya gives birth to a girl, they swap babies to hide the truth from Durga Devi. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Aadyathe Kanmani and was released on 10 November 2000. It received negative reviews and performed poorly at the box office.

Storyline
Bharat loves Priya, but his mother Durga Devi only wants a grandson. When Priya gets pregnant, they discover the baby is a girl. To protect their daughter from Durga Devi's cruelty, they swap their baby with a friend's newborn son. Now they must keep the secret alive.
