Yaraana(1995)
Yaraana is a 1995 Hindi romantic thriller film directed by David Dhawan. It stars Rishi Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and Raj Babbar in lead roles. The story follows Lalita, a woman forced into a violent marriage with the obsessive JB. She fakes her death to escape him and starts a new life under a false name. The film is loosely based on the Hollywood film Sleeping with the Enemy. It is known for its popular song 'Mera Piya Ghar Aaya', which won Kavita Krishnamurthy the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer. Madhuri Dixit also received a Filmfare nomination for Best Actress for her performance. The film was released in 1995.

Storyline
Lalita is forced to marry the cruel JB. She fakes her own death to escape him. She moves to a new city and falls in love with Raj. But JB discovers she is alive. He comes to take her back. Raj must fight to save the woman he loves.
