
Laadla(1994)
Laadla is a 1994 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Raj Kanwar. It stars Sridevi as Sheetal Jaitley, a cruel factory owner, and Anil Kapoor as Raju Verma, a kind mechanic. The supporting cast includes Raveena Tandon, Anupam Kher, Farida Jalal, and Paresh Rawal. The story follows Sheetal, who marries Raju to break his spirit after he becomes a union leader. But the marriage teaches her lessons in love and humility. The film is a remake of the Kannada film Anuraga Aralithu. Sridevi's performance as a negative lead earned her a Filmfare Best Actress nomination. Laadla was one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 1994. It was released theatrically on 25 March 1994.

Storyline
Raju Verma is a poor mechanic who stands up to Sheetal Jaitley, the arrogant owner of a textile mill. To teach him a lesson, Sheetal tricks him into marrying her. But the marriage backfires when Raju's honesty and kindness begin to change her heart. Can love break through her pride?
