Saajan(1991)
Saajan is a 1991 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Lawrence D'Souza. It stars Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, and Salman Khan in lead roles. The story follows Aman, a poet with a disability who writes under the pen name Sagar, and his friendship with Aakash. The film is loosely based on the French play Cyrano de Bergerac and is a remake of the Bengali film Apan Amar Apan. Its soundtrack, composed by Nadeem-Shravan, became the year's top-selling album with around 7 million copies sold. Saajan was the highest-grossing Indian film of 1991, earning ₹18.35 crore worldwide. It received 11 nominations at the 37th Filmfare Awards and won two, including Best Music Director. The film was shot in 36 days and released on 30 August 1991.

Storyline
A shy poet named Aman writes beautiful verses under the name Sagar. His biggest fan, Pooja, falls in love with his words. When Aman meets her, he hides his identity because he feels unworthy. His best friend Aakash pretends to be Sagar, creating a tangled love triangle. Who will Pooja choose when the truth comes out?
