• Kader Khan wrote the dialogues for 'Biwi Ho To Aisi' (1988) before Salman was even cast. Salman was a newcomer, and Kader — already a veteran writer-actor — personally recommended him to the director after seeing his screen test. That film became Salman's first major hit.
• In 'Suryavanshi' (1992), Kader played Salman's father. The film's emotional core — a son torn between duty and love — relied entirely on Kader's measured, dialogue-heavy performance setting the pace, while Salman reacted with raw energy. Kader later said he deliberately slowed his delivery so Salman's outbursts would land harder.
• Kader Khan was a strict vegetarian and teetotaller. On the sets of 'Biwi Ho To Aisi', he once walked off a scene because Salman cracked a beer joke during a take. Salman apologized, and they never had a professional disagreement again. Kader later called him 'a bachcha with a good heart'.
• The only reason 'Hero' (2015) exists is because Kader Khan, then in his late 70s and semi-retired, agreed to play a small role after Salman personally flew to his home in Toronto to narrate the script.
