Namma Ooru Nalla Ooru is a 1986 Indian Tamil-language village drama film directed by V. Azhagappan. The film stars Ramarajan in his debut leading role, alongside Rekha, Rajeev, and Sulakshana. The story follows Ramu, a kind-hearted villager, who falls in love with Sita, but their relationship is threatened by Sita's jealous sister-in-law, Meena. The plot explores themes of love, family honor, and redemption, culminating in Ramu's selfless act of saving Meena. The film was shot in Nagercoil and Kanyakumari. It was a box office success and earned Ramarajan the Cinema Express Award for Best New Face Actor. The soundtrack was composed by Gangai Amaran. The film was released on 28 November 1986.

Storyline
