
Uyarndha Ullam(1985)
Uyarndha Ullam is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by S. P. Muthuraman and produced by AVM Productions. The film stars Kamal Haasan as Anand and Ambika as Geetha, with Radha Ravi, V. K. Ramasamy, and Y. G. Mahendran in supporting roles. The story follows a spoiled heir who inherits a massive fortune and wastes it on drinking and gambling, only to lose everything after being betrayed by a trusted friend. The film was Muthuraman's 50th directorial venture and featured a soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja. Despite the star power of Kamal Haasan, the film failed at the box office upon its release on 27 July 1985.

Storyline
Anand is a wealthy young man who spends his inheritance on drinking and partying with fake friends. He hires a stranger named Selvam as his assistant, not knowing Selvam is plotting to steal his money. When Anand falls in love with Geetha, he tries to change his ways, but it is too late. He loses everything and must find a way to rebuild his life from nothing.
