Vandichakkaram(1980)
Vandichakkaram (transl. Cartwheel) is a 1980 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. Vijayan and written by Vinu Chakravarthy. It stars Sivakumar as Gaja, a violent ruffian, and Saritha as Vadivu, the woman who inspires his transformation. The story follows Gaja's journey from a feared bully to a reformed man after he falls in love with a kind vegetable seller. The film was shot at Devaraja Market in Mysore and marked the Tamil debut of Silk Smitha. It won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Film (Third Prize), and Sivakumar and Saritha won Filmfare Awards for Best Actor and Best Actress. The film was released on 29 August 1980 and became one of Sivakumar's biggest commercial successes.

Storyline
