Imaiyam(1979)
Imaiyam is a 1979 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Muktha Srinivasan. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Srividya, Jai Ganesh, and Thengai Srinivasan. It also marks the on-screen debut of Kannada actress Malashri as a child artist. The story follows Gangadharan, a kind-hearted man who discovers that his niece's fiancé, Krishna, is a deceitful womanizer with a secret family. The film is a tense battle of wits as Gangadharan tries to expose Krishna's lies. It is noted for its dramatic narrative and Sivaji Ganesan's powerful performance. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan with lyrics by Kannadasan. The film was released on 21 July 1979.

Storyline
Gangadharan is a trusting man who raises his niece, Sindhu. When Sindhu falls in love with Krishna, Gangadharan is happy. But Krishna is a womanizer with a secret lover and son. When Krishna's lover commits suicide, Gangadharan learns the truth. He must expose Krishna before he marries Sindhu.
