Manthoppu Killiye is a 1979 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by M. A. Kaja. The cast includes Sudhakar, Deepa, Major Sundarrajan, Gandhimathi, and Suruli Rajan. The story follows three families whose lives are shaped by their choices regarding money and morality. Raghupathy, an honest manager, faces false accusations from a greedy coworker named Arun. The film contrasts the consequences of honesty, greed, and miserliness through parallel family narratives. Suruli Rajan's portrayal of the miser Kasinathan became a highlight and contributed to the film's box office success. The music was composed by Shankar–Ganesh. Storyline
An honest manager named Raghupathy refuses to take bribes from a dishonest businessman. His coworker Arun, driven by greed, falsely accuses him of theft and gets him fired. As Arun's greed destroys his own family, Raghupathy rebuilds his life through hard work. The film follows three families as they learn that choices have consequences.
