Sadhurangam(1978)
Sadhurangam is a 1978 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Durai. The film stars Rajinikanth, Srikanth, Jayachitra, and Prameela in lead roles. It is based on Visu's play Bharatha Matharkku Jai. The story follows two brothers from an orthodox Brahmin family who take opposite paths in life. Sundaresan, the elder, is a quiet accountant who falls into crime, while Ramkumar, the younger, is an arrogant college student forced into marriage. The film explores family duty, pride, and redemption. It received praise for Rajinikanth's performance in the climax. The music was composed by V. Kumar, with the song 'Madhanorchavam' becoming popular. Sadhurangam was released on 23 June 1978 and is now considered a partially lost film.

Storyline
