Shankar Salim Simon is a 1978 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by P. Madhavan. The film stars Vijayakumar, Jai Ganesh, and Rajinikanth in the title roles. It follows three friends from Hindu, Muslim, and Christian backgrounds who face societal pressure when one of them falls in love across class lines. The story was inspired by the 1977 Hindi film Amar Akbar Anthony but retains only the concept of three protagonists from different religions. The film features a soundtrack composed by M. S. Viswanathan with lyrics by Kannadasan. It was released on 10 February 1978.

Storyline
Three friends from different religions — Shankar, Salim, and Simon — face a crisis when Simon's lover Vasanthi runs away from a forced marriage. Society turns against them, and they must fight for love and acceptance. Their bond is tested by class, religion, and cruel gossip.
