Kanavan Manaivi(1976)
Kanavan Manaivi is a 1976 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by A. Bhimsingh. The lead cast includes R. Muthuraman and Jayalalithaa in the central roles. The story follows Chithra, a wealthy and arrogant young woman who falls in love with Shankar, a humble clerk in her family's company. Their relationship faces severe tests when Chithra discovers Shankar's true economic status and must choose between pride and love. The film was remade in Telugu as Seeta Ramulu in 1980.
