Avandhan Manidhan(1975)
Avandhan Manidhan is a 1975 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan as Ravikumar, a generous widower whose kindness leads to his financial and personal ruin. The supporting cast includes Muthuraman, Jayalalithaa, and Manjula. The story follows Ravikumar as he helps his employee Chandran, only to lose his business, home, and dignity to Chandran's ambition. The film is noted for its tragic tone and its exploration of unchecked generosity. It is a remake of the 1971 Kannada film Kasturi Nivasa. Avandhan Manidhan was released on 11 April 1975 and became a commercial success, running for over 100 days in theatres.

Storyline
Ravikumar is a wealthy factory owner who cannot refuse anyone. He helps his employee Chandran rise in life. But when Chandran returns from the US with new ideas, Ravikumar refuses to change. Chandran leaves and builds a rival company. Ravikumar's endless charity destroys his business and his life.
