Kaliyuga Kannan(1974)
Kaliyuga Kannan is a 1974 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by Krishnan–Panju. The film stars Thengai Srinivasan, Sowcar Janaki, Jaishankar, and Jayachitra. It is based on the play Sri Krishna Vijayam by Vaali. The story follows Sambu Iyer, a man who questions God's fairness and uses his wife's temple offering money to become rich. When Lord Krishna appears to reclaim the money, Sambu Iyer refuses, leading to a series of events that teach him about faith and humility. The film was a commercial success and propelled Thengai Srinivasan to stardom. It was praised for its riveting script and strong performances. Kaliyuga Kannan was released on 13 November 1974.

Storyline
Sambu Iyer is a proud man who blames God for his failures. He steals his wife's temple money to enter a competition and becomes rich. But when Lord Krishna appears to ask for the money back, Sambu Iyer refuses. He must learn that God is fair and that money cannot buy peace.
