Pugundha Veedu(1972)
Pugundha Veedu (transl. In-law's house) is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Pattu in his directorial debut. The film stars A. V. M. Rajan, Ravichandran, Savitri, Lakshmi, and Chandrakala. The story follows a newly married woman who faces relentless cruelty from her mother-in-law and sister-in-law in her husband's home. She endures lies, theft accusations, and isolation while her husband remains blind to the truth. The film was a major commercial success, running for over 100 days in theatres. It was remade in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The music was composed by Shankar–Ganesh. The film released on 13 April 1972.

Storyline
