Raman Thediya Seethai is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language romantic thriller film directed by P. Neelakantan. It stars M. G. Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa in the lead roles, with Jayalalithaa playing a triple role. The story follows Raman, a wealthy industrialist who searches for a wife possessing six specific virtues given to him by an old couple. He finds Seetha, but their wedding is threatened by jealous enemies who kidnap her. The film is a remake of the 1969 Kannada film Gandondu Hennaru. It was a box office success, running for over 100 days in theatres. Jayalalithaa won the Tamil Nadu Cinema Fan Award for Best Actress for her performance. The film was released on 13 April 1972.
