Thabalkaran Thangai is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by K. S. Gopalakrishnan. The film stars Gemini Ganesan and Vanisri in lead roles. The story follows a village postman who dedicates his life to protecting his younger sister Lakshmi from a wealthy, manipulative villain. When Lakshmi refuses the villain's marriage proposal, he destroys her reputation through lies. The postman sacrifices his home and livelihood to save her honor. The film was produced by Balu under Ravi Productions, with music composed by K. V. Mahadevan and lyrics by Kannadasan. It was released on 13 March 1970. Storyline
