Neelagiri Express(1968)
Neelagiri Express is a 1968 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed by Thirumalai–Mahalingam. The cast includes Jaishankar, Cho Ramaswamy, Vijaya Nirmala, and Vijaya Lalitha. The story follows a murder on a train from Madras to Coimbatore, where an innocent passenger becomes the prime suspect. CID Inspector Shankar investigates the case and uncovers a web of deception. The film is a remake of the 1967 Malayalam film Cochin Express. It was written by Cho Ramaswamy, who also played the lead role of Ravanan. The music was composed by T. K. Ramamoorthy with lyrics by Kannadasan. The film received mixed reviews from critics but was a commercial success upon its release on 23 March 1968.

Storyline
A man is murdered on the Neelagiri Express train. The only witness, Ravanan, becomes the main suspect. A mysterious woman tricks him into missing the train. CID Inspector Shankar believes Ravanan is innocent. He must find the real killer before it is too late.
