Thirumal Perumai(1968)
Thirumal Perumai is a 1968 Indian Tamil-language Hindu mythological film directed by A. P. Nagarajan. It stars Sivaji Ganesan in a triple role alongside Padmini, K. R. Vijaya, and Sowcar Janaki. The film presents three separate narratives from the lives of the Alvar saints, each demonstrating the power of devotion to Lord Vishnu. The stories focus on Andal, a young girl who merges with the deity; a king who becomes a thief to build a temple; and a sage who is saved from execution. The film is based on the Naalayira Divya Prabandham, a collection of hymns by the Alvars. It was released on 16 February 1968 and has a runtime of 159 minutes.

Storyline
Three devotees face impossible situations. A young girl is slapped by her father for wearing a god's garland. A king turns into a thief to fund a temple. A sage falls in love with a dancer and is accused of stealing. In each story, Lord Vishnu appears to save them and prove that his grace is real.
