
Vettaikkaran(1964)
Vettaikkaran is a 1964 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by M. A. Thirumugam and produced by Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar under Devar Films. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran and Savitri in lead roles, with M. R. Radha, M. N. Nambiar, and Baby Shakila in supporting parts. The story follows Babu, a wealthy estate owner and passionate hunter, whose family life becomes strained when his wife Latha falls ill and a treacherous estate manager plots to steal his fortune. A real leopard was brought on set for filming. The film was a commercial success, running for 25 weeks in theatres after its Pongal release on 14 January 1964.

Storyline
Babu is a wealthy estate owner who loves hunting. His passion worries his mother and later creates tension with his wife Latha. When a treacherous manager named Mayavan plots to steal Babu's wealth, he kidnaps Latha and their son Raja. Babu must fight to save his family.
