Sura(2010)
Sura is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by S. P. Rajkumar. The film stars Vijay in the title role, alongside Tamannaah Bhatia, Vadivelu, and Dev Gill. Set in the coastal fishing village of Yaazh Nagar, the story follows Sura, a fearless fisherman who protects his community from a corrupt politician named Samuthira Raja. The politician attempts to seize the villagers' land, forcing Sura into a violent confrontation. The film blends action sequences with comedic moments delivered by Vadivelu. It received mixed critical reviews but performed moderately at the box office. Sura was released in Tamil Nadu on 30 April 2010.
