Needhikkuppin Paasam is a 1963 Indian Tamil-language legal drama film directed by M. A. Thirumugam. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran, B. Saroja Devi, and M. R. Radha in lead roles. The story follows Gopal, an honest lawyer who prioritizes law over family. When his mother is framed for murder, he must defend her in court against his own father and brother. The film was produced by Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar under Devar Films. It was released on 15 August 1963, coinciding with India's Independence Day. The film was remade in Telugu as Thandri Kodukula Challenge.

Storyline
Gopal is a lawyer who values the law above everything. He falls in love with a village girl named Gowri. But her evil uncle Muthayya wants her for himself. Muthayya murders Gowri's father and frames Gopal's mother for the crime. Now Gopal must fight his own family in court to prove his mother's innocence.
