Kudumba Thalaivan is a 1962 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by M. A. Thirumugam. It stars M. G. Ramachandran, M. R. Radha, and B. Saroja Devi. The story follows a wealthy patriarch who neglects his family for poker. His two sons fall in love with the same woman, leading to sacrifice and reconciliation. The film was produced by Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar under Devar Films. It was a commercial success, running for over 100 days in theatres. The Indian Express praised the cast performances. The soundtrack, composed by K. V. Mahadevan with lyrics by Kannadasan, became popular. The film was released on 15 August 1962.

Storyline
Velayudam Pilai, a rich gambler, ignores his family. After his driver dies saving him, he brings the driver's daughter Seetha home. Both his sons fall for her. The elder brother hides his love, while the younger one wins her heart. Secrets and sacrifice threaten to tear the family apart.
