Senthamarai(1962)
Senthamarai is a 1962 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by A. Bhimsingh. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Padmini, K. R. Ramasamy, and S. S. Rajendran. Set in rural Tamil Nadu, the story follows a young village woman named Senthamarai who falls in love with an honest village man. A wealthy lawyer becomes obsessed with her and uses false legal cases to imprison her lover. The film explores themes of love, greed, and justice. Kanthan of Kalki magazine criticized the film, calling it a 'paper flower' in a play on its title meaning red lotus. No complete print of the film is known to survive, making it a partially lost film. It was released on 14 September 1962.

Storyline
