Thayai Katha Thanayan is a 1962 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by M. A. Thirumugam. It stars M. G. Ramachandran, M. R. Radha in a dual role, and B. Saroja Devi. The story follows Shekar, a wealthy man who falls in love with Maragadham, a poor village girl. Her brother Kandhan hates rich people and opposes their relationship. A local thug named Muthaiah also wants to marry Maragadham. The film explores class conflict, family loyalty, and the fight for love. It was produced by Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar under Devar Films. The music was composed by K. V. Mahadevan with lyrics by Kannadasan. Critics noted it lacked newness compared to the earlier film 'Thai Sollai Thattathe'. The film released on 13 April 1962.

Storyline
A rich young man named Shekar falls in love with a poor village girl named Maragadham. Her brother Kandhan hates rich people and refuses to allow their marriage. A violent local goon also wants to marry the girl. Shekar must fight both the goon and Kandhan's hatred to win his love and protect his mother.
