
Deivapiravi(1960)
Deivapiravi is a 1960 Indian Tamil-language family drama film directed by Krishnan–Panju. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan as Madhavan, a wealthy businessman, alongside Padmini, S. S. Rajendran, and K. A. Thangavelu. The story follows Madhavan's efforts to protect his family from internal conflicts and a manipulative stepsister who seeks to steal their wealth. The film won the All India Certificate of Merit for the Third Best Feature Film at the 8th National Film Awards. It was a commercial success, running for over 100 days in theatres. The film was later remade in Hindi as Bindya in the same year.

Storyline
Madhavan is a successful businessman who takes in his stepsister Nandhini. She pretends to be kind but secretly spreads lies to destroy his family. As jealousy and suspicion tear everyone apart, Madhavan must uncover the truth and save his loved ones from betrayal.
