Mannadhi Mannan is a 1960 Indian Tamil-language historical action film directed and produced by M. Natesan. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran, Padmini, and Anjali Devi in lead roles. The story is set during the ancient three-dynastic rule of South India, around the time of the Roman Empire. It follows Chera prince Manivannan who falls in love with Chola princess Chitra, the daughter of Emperor Karikala Chozhan. The film features sword fights, royal intrigue, and a love story across enemy lines. Written by poet Kannadasan with music by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy, the film was a commercial success. It was released on October 19, 1960, in India.

Storyline
Chera prince Manivannan disguises himself as a commoner to understand his people. He falls in love with Chitra, the daughter of his enemy, Chola emperor Karikala Chozhan. An evil minister plots to start a war between the kingdoms. Manivannan must fight for his love and his kingdom against betrayal and battle.
