Storyline
In post-independence India, two friends from different social classes—one an aristocrat, the other a peasant—find their bond shattered. After the aristocrat's brother is killed in a peasant village, he becomes consumed by a desire for revenge. Their conflict unfolds against the backdrop of a changing society where old power structures are crumbling.
