Zalzala is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language action adventure film directed by Harish Shah. The film stars Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Rajiv Kapoor, Anita Raj, Kimi Katkar, Vijayta Pandit, Danny Denzongpa, and Rati Agnihotri. The story follows Inspector Shiv Kumar, who seeks revenge after his wife is murdered by the dacoit Sona Singh. Shiv joins a dangerous quest to find a hidden golden temple, guided by a secret map. The film is a loose rehash of the 1969 Western Mackenna's Gold. It received mixed reviews from critics upon its release on 13 May 1988.

Storyline

Inspector Shiv Kumar arrests the ruthless dacoit Sona Singh. After escaping jail, Sona Singh murders Shiv's wife. Shiv resigns from the police and joins a quest for a hidden golden temple. He must guide Sona Singh's gang to the treasure while planning his revenge.
