
Bandish(1980)
Bandish is a 1980 Hindi-language drama film directed by K. Bapaiah. It stars Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini in a double role, and Danny Denzongpa. The story follows Kishan, a medical student who falls in love with Madhu. After Madhu is murdered for witnessing a crime, Kishan vows revenge. His search leads him to a village where he meets Chanchal, Madhu's twin sister. The film explores themes of love, loss, and family secrets. It was a commercial success, ranking as the 8th highest-grossing film of 1980. The music was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. The film is a remake of the Telugu film Chilipi Krishnudu.

Storyline
