Storyline
Karikaalan, known as Kaala, is the godfather of the Dharavi slum in Mumbai. A powerful minister named Haridev wants to evict the poor residents and build luxury towers. Kaala stands in his way. After Haridev kills Kaala's family, Kaala leads a peaceful protest that inspires the entire city. The fight for land becomes a fight for survival.
