Perarasu (2006) is a Tamil-language vigilante action film directed by Udhayan in his directorial debut. The film stars Vijayakanth in a dual role as twin brothers, alongside Debina Bonnerjee, Prakash Raj, Sarath Babu, Anandaraj, and Pandiarajan. The story follows CBI officer Kasi Viswanathan, who investigates a judge's disappearance and uncovers a web of corruption led by minister Ilakkiyan. He later discovers his twin brother Perarasu is secretly killing the corrupt officials to avenge their father's murder. The film is known for its fast-paced narrative, action sequences, and emotional family drama. It received mixed to positive reviews from critics. Perarasu was released on 14 September 2006.

Storyline
A CBI officer investigates a missing judge and uncovers a corrupt minister's criminal empire. But when the minister's allies start getting murdered by a mysterious lookalike, the officer becomes the prime suspect. He must clear his name and stop the killer before it is too late.
