• Their first film together, En Purushan Than Enakku Mattundhan (1989), was a comedy where Nassar played the lead and Vijayakanth had a supporting role. At that time, Vijayakanth was already a rising action star, but he took the smaller part because he trusted Nassar's comic timing.
• In Sakkarai Devan (1993), Nassar played the villain opposite Vijayakanth's hero. Their face-off scenes worked because Nassar deliberately underplayed his menace, letting Vijayakanth's loud, physical anger dominate the frame — a trick Nassar later said he learned from watching veteran character actors.
