Trivia

  • Director Linguswamy initially considered a different actor for the lead before finalizing Ajith Kumar.
  • The college election scenes were shot at a real engineering campus in Chennai to add authenticity.
  • Composer Vidyasagar's soundtrack included a rare promotional song not featured in the final film.
  • The movie underperformed at the box office, ending Linguswamy and Ajith's planned multi-film collaboration.

  • Stunt director Silva choreographed the climax fight to mirror a political uprising, not just a brawl.
